Lades (Gelding, Rheinland / Brown / 1,73 )

Lades is the second son of the Holsteiner winner of the stallion approval Larioni in our stable, his
mother is the state premium mare St.Pr.St Desiree by Designer.
He shows a very good potential for jumping with impressive capacity, good bascule and natural
carefulness. Lades is currently in jumping training and certainly an interesting prospect for an experienced
show jumping rider.
Lades is a very handsome gelding, a real eye-catcher, typeful with a stallion like neck-line and an absolutely beautiful face.

Lades has been sold and will hopefully soon built a remarkable harmonic team with his new rider.
He is not only a very beautiful horse, a lot of pleasure just to look at, he is also very talented for the show
jumping arena. He will in the future mainly be trained for show jumping and we wish his new owner a lot of
fun and success competing with him.

Larioni is out of the last croup of foals out of the great Landgraf I, to whom, as the most successful
producer of sport horses of all times, was dedicated a life-sized statue in bronce by the Holsteiner
breeders.
Larioni qualified for the German Championships, but was sold to Great Britain just before the competition.
Even though he left only a limited number of progeny in germany he produced with Pamina
a mare going to the final ring of the elite show and some jumping horses competing successfully.

Larioni's mother Sofia is also grandmother of the breeding stallion Lordanos (PB Oldenburg).
Her sire
Calypso I is one of best Holsteiner stallions, proven by a large number of successful
sporthorses in jumping and dressage.
With Ramiro you can not only find another stallion of the century in third generation, but also a very
special line breeding component. Larioni as well as Ramiro are both descending out of the successful
mare line 776. Out of this line are also the breeding stallions Magnus, Mandarin, Calvados I und II,
Rocco, Cortino I and II, Captain Incipit, Colorado, Los Alamos, Lord Incipit, Lauritz J, Rossini,
Toledo, Rouletto, Caracas, My Lord and Sirius Son.
