Belancor our 'Mr Super Cool' in action
Rheinland / Brown / )
is Lacoriantes second foal by the exceptional stallion
Belissimo M. Since we are quite happy
with the development of his older sister Belliante
it was obvious to repeat this combination once again.
That it is a little colt this time came just as ordered. Belancor seems to have
enherited the beautiful
character so typical for foals by Belissimo M. He is extremely easy to handle,
fearless and remarkably
fond of people.
Belissimo M, highest priced horse
at the westfalian auction 2002,
30 days test winner with exceptional
result ( 9,25), Bundeschampion 2003 as a 4 year old and Vice-
Bundeschampion of the six year old
dressage horses. In 2006 impressive start as a breeding stallion with 11
approved sons out of his first
croup of foals and up to now 36 approved sons in Oldenburg, Hanover and
The breeding balance of this young stallion already includes not only highest
priced horses at auctions
( Bentley 310 thsd Euro Verden) and 4 Bundeschampions ( Bacchus von Worrenberg
2008, Blickpunkt and
Preziosa 2009), but also not
less than 8 performance test winners! Belissimo himself returned to the sport
in 2011 and won immediately international competitions up to Intermediare I
under Hayley Beresford.
His pedigree combines the sought-after Bolero blood with that of the DLG
Exhibition winner Romadour II,
founder of an outstanding dressage dynasty. Lucius xx on the dam's side and
Black Sky xx on the
father's side contribute valuable thoroughbred blood. Belissimo's father Beltain
comes out of one of
the most well known lines of the Hannoverian breed. His mother state premium
(Grande) is the full-sister of Garibaldi I and II as well as the granddam of the
Wolkenstein I, II and III.
Belissimo's mother, the state premium mare Roxa won the district show as a 3
year old and gave birth
to 3 siblings from Boss (also Bolero line),
all winners of Dressage competitions up to S level. Two
daughters of Roxa received a state premium, the full-sister of Belissimo M
Belissima and Ambra from
Amant, herself mother of a breeding stallion (Cinamant K, Private Stallion Westf.).
Lacoriante is several times inbred on Ladykiller xx and has above that a
strongly thoroughbred influenced
pedigree ( Manometer xx, Tin Rod xx, Ultimate xx, Un Prince xx, Earldom xx,
Xebec xx, Cottage Sun xx).
Her father is the Oldenburger premium stallion and finalist of the german
championship Lacoro from
Landfrieden. Landfriedens pedigree combines two of the most influential
Holsteiner stallions, the all time
great stallion Landgraf I and the
successful producer of versatile sporthorses Calypso I. Lacoro's grandsire
Reichsgraf is also the grandsire of Contendro.
Reichsgraf is known for his successful progeny although he
was only available for a short time period.
Lacoriante descends from a very well known dam line. Her granddam VbPrSt Zoliante
going back to the
KWPN stud book, is one of the most successful brood mares of
the Rheinland. She delivered several gold
medal foals, auction highlights and national winners.
She consistently passed on outstanding movements,
for example to the approved full-brothers Dream
of Heidelberg I+II from Donnerschlag.
Dream of Heidelberg II, twice finalist of the german Bundeschampionat, has won
Intermediare II and on Grand Prix level. Zoliante's daughter Goliante is the
mother of the approved Del Vento,
reserve winner of his performance test. Her daughter Cami is the
mother of the great moving Brendula
(now Burj al Arab), bought for 141.000 Euro by Victoria Max-Theurer at the CHIO
auction in Aachen in 2007.
Lacoriante's great-granddam Ramona brought with
Eyecatcher (Leslie Burr-Lenehan
USA) and Ewald
(Emiel Hendrix NL) two internationally successful jumping
was awarded the title
'Brood mare of the year' of the Netherlands in 1996.
In the pedigree of Lacoriante's grandsire Sultan (KWPN) you will find plenty
of french thoroughbred as well
as the Holsteiner stallion Joost, going back via Consul to Cottage Son xx.
