Acoriante ( mare /Rheinland / dark brown )

Acoriante is the first foal of Floriante and belongs to the first crop of foals of Acolord from Acorado I.
Floriante has brought us a very elegant, noble foal that more than fullfills all our expectations. She has
a lot from her mother, how much jumping potential she has inherited from her father, wait and see!

The Acorado son Acolord combines a brilliant type with impressive movements, but his most interesting
feature is of cause as to be expected his outstanding jumping potential. As a 5 y.o. he reached the final of
the German Championship and won the Italian Championship in the same year. Meanwhile he started at
the CSI ** in Cervia where he got two placements and the CSI****in Kiel.
His mother Doretta II brought also the two highly successful jumping horses Acoretto (Stall Distel /
Wächtersbach) and Acodetto both successful up to S class.
Her pedigree features with Lord and Ronald two successful holsteiner breeding stallions, not only famous
for jumping ability but also for above the average movements and good rideability. Doretta II is on top the
half sister of the breeding stallions Corretto (PB Rhpfs.) and Landetto (PB BEL), both also shown in
international show jumping. Granddam Odetta was invited to the elite mare show of the Holsteiner
Verband. Her mother line goes back to Thiedemann's wunderful mare Retina, besides
other achievements known for the fastes jump off in the history of the German Derby and mother of the
first class breeding stallion Capitano. Ibylle was Retina`s last daughter and mother of the Ladalco-son
Laurin, known for his own performance and as a successful breeding stallion.

Acolord is descended from one of the most successfull Holsteiner breeding lines, the line 104 a. Popular
progenies of this outstanding line are for example Caretano Z, Carneval, Celano, Chico’s Boy, Contendro I
and II, Conteur, Corland, Cranach, Joliot, Landego, Leuthen I /II and Lonely Boy.
Acoriantes grandsire Acorado I, who was nine years old fatally injured, was performance test winner
(Jumping index 149), multiple german championship finalist and winner of great prices. In his short
lifetime he sired 14 approved stallions.

Grand sire Florestan – a legend in his lifetime. He is the unchallenged star of the westfalian state stud
and can show off more than 70 licensed sons including german champions and world champions.
Especially his safe inheritance of rideability, versatility and easy going temperament has made him
the No 1 of the Westfalian breeders. Fidermark, Fürst Piccolo, Floribot, Fürst Heinrich, Florencio and
Fleurop are listed substitutionally for the breeding sons and grandsons of the Florestan dynasty
stationed all over Europe. Successful sport horses are for example Forrest Gump NRW (Hubertus Schmidt),
Floriano Deux (Nicole Glaser-Käppeler), Focus (Heinrich Wilhelm Johannsmann) and Formidable
(Franke Sloothaak).

Floriantes mother Lacoriante descends from a very well known dam line. Her mother Foliante, going back
to the KWPN stud book, is also grand dam of the breeding stallion Le Maitre (from Lanciano). Foliante's
mother, the studbook premium mare Zoliante, is one of the most successful brood mares of the Rheinland.
She delivered several gold medal foals, auction highlights and national winners. She consistently
passed on outstanding movements, for example to the approved full-brothers Dream of Heidelberg I+II
from Donnerschlag. The older of the two, Dream of Heidelberg I is for example responsible for Dormello,
winner of the Oldenburger stallion approval.
Dream of Heidelberg II, twice finalist of the german Bundeschampionat, has won on Intermediare I level
and competes currently on Grand Prix level. Zoliante's daughter Goliante is the mother of the approved
Del Vento, reserve winner of his performance test. Her daughter Cami
is the mother of the great moving
Brendula (now Burj al Arab), bought for 141.000 Euro by Victoria Max-Theurer at the CHIO auction in
Aachen in 2007. Zoliante produced with Lardyante by Larome also an S-class jumping horse.
Lacoriante's great-granddam Ramona brought with Eyecatcher (Leslie Burr-Lenehan USA) and
Ewald (Emiel Hendrix NL) two internationally successful jumping horses and was awarded the title
'Brood mare of the year' of the Netherlands in 1996.
